This cut is further back than the original one we put up in terms of being ready as we ended up refilming a lot of the bedroom sections so we haven't had much time to put it together. It is more like a collection of the clips we are going to use:

Shots are far too long and the shots do not cut together well.

The shots in this trailer go on for to long, especially the teeth brushing scene. I can see what you are trying to achieve just need to tidy up your edits.

ReplyDeleteI think the people who commented first didn't read your explanation. When you watch the cut before this you can see what you are doing. It's good you refilmed again as the old stuff was wobbly - some of the new stuff does seema bit dark though?

I watched the old version too and I liked the split screen, guessing you are putting titles and credits in the spaces? I agree some of the new film is a bit dark but the acting is better.

ReplyDeleteI watched both versions so i think I get the idea and it will be good! I like the cross cutting and split screen but the only thing is you can't really hear what the girl says at the door and there is a lot of camera sound, can you re-record the sound for this bit? Can't tell if it is short because not editied yet but if it is agree they should meet again. Good luck!

just seen the latest version and it really is much better! Well done! there are some little gaps between the cuts and the page turn thing isn't everywhere it needs to be but it makes much mroe sense and works really well!

Its really girly, so maybe boys wont like your film, but i guess there not your target audience. I like the photo split screen idea and the difference in the girls getting up is good. You seem caught up now, more or less, so well done!
